Deshalb haben wir uns die letzten Wochen ja ausführlich mit Leopard, dem neuen Betreibssystem-Update von Apple beschäftigt – hier insbesondere was die neuen Features für das iPhone angeht. Dabei habe ich die Synchronisation der Notizen immer wieder gepriesen. Und heute, am Tag der Veröffentlichung – und einige Stunden bevor ich heute Abend meine Version bekommen – muss ich das lesen: 

Sorry, syncing notes to your iPhone won’t work either. Well, not entirely. The notes Mail.app keeps are actually just HTML email messages in a special folder, and if you use IMAP it will sync that special notes folder to your server. So in theory, if you have IMAP and you access your IMAP email through your iPhone or other device, you can view / edit those notes. But no, they don’t sync to the notes your iPhone’s native notes app keeps.      

Kann doch nicht wahr sein. Ein iTunes-Update ist gewünscht gefordert!  Ab 18 Uhr gibt es bei „Bits und so“ ein Leopard, aka 10.5, Spezial – ein Link wird hier nachgereicht.
Update I: Ich habe mein Leopard auch bekomme und verabschiede mich in den Abend und wünsche allen eine frohe Installation!
