Musikmemos – eine neue Apple-App, die Songideen festhält.
Musikmemos (universal; kostenlos) ist eine nahezu prototypische Apple-App. Sie ist clever, stylisch und hat irgendetwas mit Musik zu tun.
Der Handrecorder fängt spontane Songideen von Musikern und Musikerinnen ein. Dabei spielt er alle Vorzüge der Apple-Hardware aus (Lautsprecher, Mikrofon, Prozessorpower, etc.) und integriert über die Software das App-Store-Ökosystem, den iCloud-Onlinespeicher sowie Apple Music Connect.
Einen Ersteindruck, den ich als sehr verständlich empfand, schrieb Jim Dalrymple auf. Er erwähnt auch das gleichzeitig veröffentlichte Update für GarageBand (universal; 4.99 €). Und wer sich fragt: „GarageBand, nutzt das noch jemand?“, kann ich den Pitchfork-Artikel von Art Tavana empfehlen, der vor ein paar Monaten die Runde machte.
Over the last decade, GarageBand has become the Starbucks of digital recording studios: consumer-friendly, global, omnipresent. Pre-programmed into every Apple device, anyone with an iPhone, iPad, or Mac can open the program and record something amazing (or, perhaps more likely, something totally embarrassing). And with Apple selling nearly 300 million devices in the last year alone, it’s no wonder that GarageBand has engendered praise for its egalitarian simplicity as well as some ire for its creative limitations.
