The „dirt“ is metal shavings they are just stuck to the magnet. The tape has a stronger force than the magnet while a q-tip has zero force compared to the magnet and the alcohol is just disinfecting the metal shavings.

Und trotzdem wünsche ich mir, dass Apple seine AirPods in mehr Farben anbietet. Das weiße Case sieht nach einem Jahr bei (mehrfacher) täglicher Nutzung gut runtergerockt aus.
