Castro: „Clip Sharing”
Castro now supports sharing clips of podcast episodes. Clips can be up to 60s long and are exported as videos that include the artwork, episode title, podcast name and date of the podcast being shared. You can share on Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, WhatsApp, Slack or anywhere else that accepts video.
‚This American Life‘ hatte die ursprüngliche Idee; Overcast ermöglichte das Feature allen Podcasts und Castro’s Umsetzung verfeinert den Stile wie man Podcast-Ausschnitte (als Videos auf Twitter, Instagram und Co.) teilt.
Um ein solches 60-Sekunden-Zitat aufzuzeichnen, hält man direkt während der Wiedergabe den roten ‚Aufnahme‘-Button gedrückt. In der Schnittansicht lässt sich obendrein mit nur einem Finger die Zeitleiste zoomen.
