Auf dem Bild ist eine Hand zu sehen, die ein Smartphone hält, auf dessen Bildschirm Chrono Trigger, ein klassisches Videospiel, im Delta-Emulator dargestellt ist. Das Smartphone hat virtuelle Tasten im Stil eines alten SNES-Spielcontrollers.

Diese App-Store-Entwicklung erzwang die EU, fällt aber schlussendlich zurück auf AltStore-Entwickler Riley Testut (und diese Interaktion im Jahr 2015).

OK, so I go to WWDC and I talk to the app review team because they have like a lab there. And I basically just say: Hey, I’m working on this emulator app. Is there any world that it could be approved in the App Store?

And then they were like, actually, yeah, we’ll allow that. You just got to like comply with some weird things. […]

And then I went to the WWDC next year and I talked to the same person and I said, hey, I’m ready to submit. Can I submit it now?

And he was just like. So I talked to some people. We can’t allow emulators.
