Developed by community member xmiguel911x, this early alpha (v0.0.1) build brings the complex architecture of Sony’s Cell Broadband Engine to the iPhone. While it remains very much an experimental project, it marks a major technical milestone for handheld emulation enthusiasts.

Theoretisch interessanter als praktisch: Die konkrete Umsetzung, die insbesondere auf iOS weiterhin JIT-Sprünge durch diverse Feuerreifen verlangt, ist hinreichend besprochen.

Diese Diskussion demonstriert jedoch recht anschaulich die Diskrepanz zwischen „technisch können“ und „policy-technisch“ nicht dürfen – auch wenn Emulatoren grundsätzlich erlaubt bleiben.
