Passworteinträge ohne Passwort in Apples Passwörter-App

Apples Passwörter-App lässt euch Einträge nur mit Kennwort speichern… außer ihr schreibt ins Passwortfeld einen Bindestrich und umgeht so Sicherheitswarnungen und das AutoFill-Angebot.

Ich habe mich bereits häufiger über die Kennwortpflicht geärgert, weil ich mir dort merken wollte, welche E-Mail-Adresse ich für einen Online-Account mit „Magic Links“-Login benutze.

If anyone ever wants to save some non-password data in Passwords, but is annoyed by having to put a password in and see a useless “Password” row, use a password of “-”. Passwords will omit the password from AutoFill and hide the “Password” row from the detail view.
