„Conversational Shortcuts” in Things 3.10
There’s also an exciting new feature this year called conversational shortcuts: a new way to create to-dos by speaking to Siri.
To create a conversational shortcut, use Things’ Add To-Do action in the Shortcuts app. But instead of entering a title for your to-do, simply set it to Ask Each Time.
Now when your shortcut runs, Siri will ask you: “What’s the title?”
Weil Cultured Code ihre ToDo-Anwendung Things als zwei separate Apps verkauft, modifiziert ihr den Kurzbefehl damit er sowohl auf dem iPhone (10,99 Euro) wie auch auf dem iPad (21,99 Euro) ausgeführt werden kann. Legt ihr eure Aufgaben primär nur über ein Gerät an, ist der Shortcut mit lediglich einem Klick erstellt (➝ Things ➝ Einstellungen ➝ Siri & Shortcuts).
Das App-Update hat noch eine ganze Menge mehr in petto (Share Extension, Dark Mode, Multiple Windows, etc.), aber seine Kurzbefehle im Dialog mit Siri anzulegen, ist ein absolutes Highlight, das für Drittanbieter-Apps so erst mit iOS 13 möglich wurde.
