Der ‚Health Data Importer‘ importiert die iOS-Gesundheitsdaten nach einer Neuinstallation
Wer frisch installiert, und ohne iPhone-Backup neu beginnt, verliert die iOS-Gesundheitsdaten. Der Health Data Importer (2.99 €) von Dan Loewenherz zieht sich das Backup von diesem persönlichen Datensatz und überspielt es aufs neue Gerät.
In the Health app on your new iPhone, you’ll notice that old data points will appear slightly different than the old device. The associated icon of the app that captured them will be Health Importer’s, for example. If you open a single data point’s detail screen, you’ll also see that Health Importer’s process writes new Source and Date Added fields, but keeps the Original Creation Date and Original Source intact. Because of this, old data points will look like they were captured by Health Importer, but their metadata will show details for the original dare and capturing device or app.
Apple bietet zwar den Export aus seiner Health-App in eine gezippte XML-Datei an, vergaß aber bis heute den (Rück-)Import. Für jemanden wie mich, der bei neuen iPhones bislang immer auf das Einspielen des Backups verzichtet hat, ist dieser Datenverlust ein jährliches Ärgernis.
Der ‚Health Data Importer‘ behebt diese Unannehmlichkeit und übernimmt dabei eine Aufgabe, die ohne Frage Apple selbst anbieten müsste.
