Apple doesn’t appear to upgrade the bootloader on phones in the field, probably for fear of breaks. So any old iPhones out there today, regardless of version, can be unlocked.
The iPhone 3G uses a different bootloader, which I believe there aren’t any known exploits in yet. So no unlock.

Gerade einmal zwei Tage ist der AppStore am Netz, da fliegt hier auch schon das erste Update für eine Dritt-Applikation ins Haus. Ich weiß nicht genau, ob das NYTimes-Programm wirklich das Erste offizielle Update einer iPhone-Applikation ist, aber zumindest war es das für mich.
Die Nachrichten, die das Programm anzeigen soll, laden trotzdem (immer noch) nicht.
Neidisch schaue ich zu den TypePad-Nutzer, die bereits mit den Start des AppStores ein natives und mobiles Programm zum Publizieren von Blogartikel haben.
